Fashion Beyond Waste, Zerow's curatorial format, comes to Berlin for the first time during Berlin Fashion Week with a special event dedicated to circular fashion and the collaboration between creativity, materials and responsible supply chains.

Fashion Beyond Waste - Berlin Edition

On 30 January 2026, during Berlin Fashion Week, Fashion Beyond Waste presented its Berlin Edition at Studio183, a creative space in the heart of the city.

The event marked an important moment for Zerow: the opening of the first permanent pop-up showroom in Berlin at Studio 183 in Bikini Berlin, conceived as a point of reference for designers, brands and creatives interested in working with high-quality deadstock materials.

The evening also celebrated Zerow joining the Fashion X Craft programme, an initiative promoted by Fashion Council Germany that supports and showcases emerging talent and sustainable craft practices in the fashion industry.

Featured designers and brands

As in previous editions of Fashion Beyond Waste, in Berlin too the project gave space to a collective exhibition that welcomed an international selection of brands and designers – emerging and established – who presented their capsule collections made with Zerow deadstock materials, using upcycling and creative reuse techniques.

The projects presented explored the relationship between creativity, craftsmanship and the reuse of materials, offering a look at the emerging practices that are redefining the way fashion is designed and produced.

Talk: Waste as A Resource

The Berlin Edition also hosted the talk "Waste as a Resource", a conversation dedicated to the role of recovered materials in the future of fashion.

The conversation brought together key figures from the international scene:

  • Gabriele Rorandelli (ZEROW)
  • Alicja Jordan (Circularity Expert)
  • Carina Bischof (Fashion Revolution)
  • Natascha von Hirschhausen

Through different perspectives — design, research and activism — the talk explored how waste can turn into precious resources for imagining new production and creative models for the fashion industry.

Fashion Beyond Waste is an evolving project, open to collaborations with designers, brands and cultural institutions. Where others see waste, ZEROW chooses to see opportunity.
