For the FW26/27 collection "If we are all one, you can’t hurt me", presented during Milan Fashion Week with Lineapelle Designers Edition, Florania chose to collaborate with Zerow in selecting the leathers that brought the collection to life.

Recovered materials become part of a collection where artisan memory, material, and collective identity intertwine.

The Collaboration

Florania, an independent, genderless, and sustainable fashion brand, works by blending Made in Italy craftsmanship, innovation, and radical circularity, integrating fabrics and leathers from production surpluses into its collections.

In this context, Zerow played a key partner role by supplying exceptional deadstock leathers from the inventories of the best Italian luxury companies, which perfectly fueled the designer's creative universe.

The Collection

For the FW26/27 collection "If We Are All One, You Can’t Hurt Me," presented during Milan Fashion Week, Florania explores the relationship between artisanal memory, collective identity, and material.

Inspired by the collective work of seamstresses, folk songs, and Bernardo Bertolucci’s film Novecento, the collection reflects on themes of memory, separation, and the possibility of rebirth.

The Materials

For the leather garments in the collection, Florania carefully selected a range of premium deadstock apparel leathers supplied by Zerow: lamb nappa in black, brown, and white tones, and soft, versatile suede calfskin.

In Florania’s research, leather becomes a narrative material, shaped through artisanal patchwork, three-dimensional draping, and manual processes that bring contemporary experimentation and manufacturing heritage into dialogue.
