volevo sperimentare con tessuti nuovi per me e trovando questi metraggi ridotti la scelta si è rivelata molto conveniente. E comunque i materiali rimangono di qualità e recuperati con cura.
For the Spring/Summer 2026 collection, presented at Copenhagen Fashion Week, Danish brand Taus worked with Zerow on selecting the materials used in the garments.
A partnership that brings together creative research, upcycling and a radically conscious approach to fashion.
The Collaboration
Founded in Copenhagen by designers Freyja Taus and Juho Lehiö, Taus is an emerging brand on the Scandinavian scene that explores the relationship between identity, memory and clothing. The brand's collections combine historical elements, craftsmanship and a strong focus on sustainability, giving life to garments that challenge the logic of fast fashion.
For the Spring/Summer 2026 collection, Taus worked with Zerow on selecting the materials used in the garments. Through this partnership, fabrics from the fashion industry's surpluses find new life within the collection
The Collection
Presented at Copenhagen Fashion Week, Taus's Spring/Summer 2026 collection explores the concept of identity through cultural references and unconventional female figures. The silhouettes combine romantic and tailored elements with rawer, more spontaneous details, creating a balance between delicacy and expressive strength.
The collection stems from a process of experimentation on existing materials: recovered fabrics, vintage garments and reinterpreted surfaces become the basis for new forms and structures. Through craft interventions and textile manipulation techniques, each garment keeps traces of its previous history.
The Materials
To make some of the garments in the SS26 collection, Taus selected Zerow deadstock fabrics, chosen for their quality and versatility.
Among them, a Japanese pure cotton gabardine, with a compact, resistant structure, ideal for tailored silhouettes and structured garments. And a white viscose jersey, light and fluid, which brings a softer, more dynamic dimension to the collection.
The meeting of structured materials and softer fabrics helps create a balance between formal rigour and freedom of movement, reflecting the brand's experimental approach.
