Zerow at Copenhagen Fashion Week: an experience between innovation and circular fashion
From August 6 to 8, 2025, Zerow had the honor of participating in Copenhagen Fashion Week, taking part in the prestigious CPHFW Creative Hub, the space dedicated to innovation, sustainability, and creativity in contemporary fashion. Our pop-up offered international designers, brands, and professionals the opportunity to discover firsthand the selection of deadstock materials – leathers, fabrics, and luxury accessories salvaged from the surplus of top Italian fashion houses.

The Zerow pop-up at CPHFW Creative Hub: Luxury Deadstock and Circular Fashion
The CPHFW Creative Hub is the beating heart of Copenhagen Fashion Week, a place where sustainability and innovation meet to chart new fashion paths. Located at the Nikolaj Kunsthal, this space hosts immersive installations, workshops, talks, and exhibitions that explore the frontiers of responsible creativity. The Creative Hub's goal is to stimulate dialogue between designers, brands, and the public, offering a space for reflection and inspiration to build a more conscious and inclusive future for the fashion industry.
Within this context, Zerow has set up an exclusive pop-up, presenting a curated selection of fine leathers, high-end fabrics, and accessories from the surplus stock of top Italian fashion houses. Each material was chosen for its quality, uniqueness, and creative potential, transforming what would otherwise have remained unused into valuable resources for sustainable and circular fashion. Zerow's approach enables designers and brands to develop responsible garments and collections without sacrificing luxury and artisanal excellence.
The pop-up allowed visitors to discover the quality of Zerow materials and understand the company's key strengths: rigorous selection, the digitization of surplus materials that allows for full traceability, and the ability to transform unused materials into new creative opportunities. The space has proven to be a place of encounter, inspiration, and collaboration, where sustainability and design merge to imagine the future of fashion.
Beyond the Showcase: Launching New Collaborations
Participation in the CPHFW Creative Hub was also the occasion to launch a new open call dedicated to emerging designers and brands who work with deadstock, surplus materials, and circular design. This initiative anticipates the next edition of our Fashion Beyond Waste project, designed to stimulate collaborations and innovative projects. The event confirmed the importance of creating spaces for discussion and collaboration to promote sustainability and innovation in the fashion world.

Why Copenhagen Fashion Week
Today, Copenhagen Fashion Week represents much more than a catwalk: it is a global model of sustainability for the entire fashion industry. Since 2020, it has been the first fashion week to introduce mandatory standards for environmental responsibility, transforming sustainability promises into concrete rules. Each participating brand must meet stringent criteria, such as using at least 50% certified, recycled, or deadstock materials, adopting zero-waste practices for fashion shows and packaging, and submitting annual sustainability reports. This pioneering approach has made Copenhagen a benchmark for other fashion capitals, inspiring similar initiatives in Paris, London, Berlin, and Milan, and establishing it as the fashion week leading the way towards a circular and responsible future.
This is why for Zerow, which has made circularity the core of its mission, participating in this event means not only presenting its materials, but also sharing and strengthening a more conscious and responsible fashion model.
